Over 200 years ago, Maria Higinia Gomez served as a high counselor to the Mexican rebel leaders during the Mexican War for Independence. For her service, she was granted 10,000 acres of land in the Jalisco Highlands, most of which she gave away to revolutionaries who fought for Mexico’s freedom. The remaining 250 acres she kept, were passed down to her great grandson Iñaki Orozco who planted the initial agave shoots that flourished into Riazul Tequila in 2009. Since its founding, Riazul Tequila has flourished into one of the best sipping Tequilas.
Rested in American Oak and Oloroso Sherry casks, this exquisite sipping tequila offers extraordinary depth, featuring notes of dried fruits, honey, and lingering baking spices.
Matured in French Oak barrels, this Añejo tequila boasts sweeter aromas that lead to a silky entry, followed by a fruity medium body rich with caramel, agave, and almond flavors, culminating in a delightful cinnamon finish.
Aged in American Oak barrels, this Reposado tequila exudes pineapple and vanilla aromas. Its smooth, bright, and approachable agave character transitions into a deliciously herbal and floral aftertaste.
Represents the most
contemporary form of tequila
and is the choice of tequila
purists who seek unmasked
agave character. Sweet scents
of herbs and spices lead to a
dry-yet-fruity medium body finish
with great smoothness.
